Leadership Update

Since CCM launched its first public meetings in 2007, the CCM team has been led by Colin Baron. Under Colin’s leadership, CCM has grown from one site of around 20 people to 300 adults across six congregations. In addition to his leadership at CCM, Colin has also supported lots of other churches both in Manchester and across the Newfrontiers family.

As you may know, Colin will be handing on the leadership of the church from the CCM weekend away in March 2022. Colin and Mary will still be around, and after taking a sabbatical, Colin will switch to working part time for CCM and will focus primarily on helping plant new sites, as well as continuing to work with Newfrontiers, and support other churches in Manchester and beyond. Colin will remain on the exec team, leadership team and staff team. He will still be very involved in the life of CCM.

The leadership of CCM will be handed over to Tim Simmonds from the weekend away. Tim has worked closely with Colin over the last 12 years to shape and direct CCM, and he will work alongside the elders, trustees and site teams to continue advancing God’s kingdom in Manchester.
