Synoptic Gospels & Resurrection
(September 28th 2024)
In this session, we will look at the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, and will also think about the implications of the resurrection of Jesus.

John’s Gospel & The Church
(November 2nd 2024)
The first part of this session will look at the gospel of John, before going on to think about the images of the church in Scripture.

Acts & 1/2 Corinthians
(December 7th 2024)
Both of these sessions will be part of the New Testament module, looking at the book of Acts and Paul’s letters to the Corinthians

Paul’s Letters & Holiness
(January 11th 2025)
This session will look at Paul’s letters (other than Romans and 1/2 Corinthians), and then look at what the Bible teaches about how we become holy.

SoT Extra: Sexuality
(February 8th 2025)
In this special session we dig into what the Bible teaches about human sexuality. We will look through both theological lens and also a pastoral one, considering how we can best support and care for people in our churches, whatever their sexual orientation.

SoT Extra: War, Violence and Pacifism
(March 8th 2025)
Our School of Theology Extra sessions provide the opportunity to look deeply at what the Bible has to say about some of the big issues in our world. In this session we will look at the topic of war, and how we can understand it from a Biblical perspective.

Romans & The Offices of Christ
(April 5th 2025)
In this session we will dig into Paul’s letter to the Romans, and then think about how Christ fulfils the offices of Prophet, Priest and King.

Church History
(May 17th 2025)
The focus of this session will be the history of the church from a global perspective, telling the story from the end of the book of Acts through to the current day,

Hebrews & The Atonement
(June 14th 2025)
In this session we will teach through the book of Hebrews, as well as looking at the doctrine of the atonement.

Revelation & Eschatology
(July 5th 2025)
In this session, we finish the story of the Bible by looking at the book of Revelation and exploring what Scripture teaches about the end times.
